I've been continuing to work on concept designs for RayGunGirl. My plan is to begin continuity as concepts and assets are firmed up. RayGunGirl and some of the main characters are nearly ready to be moved to continuity. Environments are currently WIPs for the opening chapters. The Villain's fortress is nearly complete and recent uploads to Deviant Art are close to the look I want for that part of the story. I plan to have most concept work done for the book by Year end 2015. However, I am not on a deadline for this project. I am doing it for fun. Hopefully when I get it completed, other folks will enjoy it. I'll be posting updates as work

Took a break from Ray Gun Girl project to do some animation and painting through the summer and fall. I've been also working on sharing my music on iTunes. Search DOWNTOWN WILLIE BROWN to check that out. My latest painting Jungle Lord was inspired by the work of Edgar Rice Burroughs and Frank Frazetta. As a kid I read most of the Tarzan Books. Frazetta's work was/is one of my earliest inspirations. When I met him many years later at his gallery in 2004, I spent an hour talking with him about his work. I started playing with the idea of my graphic novel, Ray Gun Girl (RGG), in 2002. The plan was to use 3D tools to create the images and Photoshop to composite text and layouts. In 2005 I had a health crisis, open heart surgery, which sidelined me from my job and (RGG). When I started RGG I used poser, electric image, vue, photoshop and silo to generate the art. After I recovered from surgery, I realized I needed to learn more about 3D to achieve the kind of look I want for the story. In 2006 I bought ZBrush.
